General information

Shuttle Service

All racing days a shuttle service is established between both marinas “Hohe Düne” and “Mittelmole” for participants of the WARNEMUENDER WOCHE.
  

Traffic Regulations

All participants are urgently requested to observe the traffic hints while entering the harbor area and to cooperate with the local police, the organizers and their staff. During WARNEMUENDER WOCHE there is strictly limited access to the “Mittelmole”, e.g. neither vehicles nor trailers are allowed to enter. Please follow the instructions of the harbor master and the security staff.
On arrival all participants will be provided with more information upon parking facilities for cars, lorries and trailers.
Please note: All participants going in for the second part of the WARNEMUENDER WOCHE are advised not to arrive earlier than Wednesday, 9th July, except that the Starboat Class may arrive earliest on Tuesday, 8th July.


General Rules

Fire and barbecue as well as swimming and fishing are strictly forbidden in the harbour area.
On all parking grounds for cars, lorries and trailers as well as on camping sites any work on the boats including rigging up, unrigging, or setting sails are strictly prohibited.


Parking

Participants residing at marina “Mittelmole” will be informed regarding parking facilities by the Race Office. Participants residing at marine “Hohe Düne” will be supplied with chargeable parking tickets available in the Race Office. It is not permitted to park cars or trailers in the harbor area.


Craning

Keel boats arriving by trailer may be launched and hauled out by the local cranes. One launching and one haul-out is included in the entry fee. Cruisers yachts have to pay a fee of € 15,- for each use of a crane. Boats with a displacement exceeding 5 tons have to use the crane at marina “Hohe Düne”.


Berths

Berths are located at marina “Mittelmole” or marina “Hohe Düne”. Cruisers will berth at “Alter Strom”. All berths will be allocated by the harbour master. Classes are permitted to use only appropriate marked berths. Berthing is free of charge from July 4th to July 13th for participants.

Social events ashore

Miscellaneous social events will take place during the WARNEMÜNDE WEEK. A detailed schedule will be available at the Race Office. Private or class parties in the harbor area during the WARNEMÜNDER WOCHE must be permitted by the organizing authority before July 3rd, 2008.
